DIETICIAN SERVICES

The role of the dietitian at LivGastro is to work with the patient in a systematic way to provide him/her with the tools and resources that will take control of the overall health of the patient.

At each session, the dietitian will:

  • Address the medical and nutrition history of the patient
  • Discuss with the patient about his/her eating and nutrition habits
  • Provide information in regard to improving and/or sustaining nutrition practices of the patient to help meet his/her health care goals
  • Provide a set of personalized goals, taking into account the patient’s lifestyle, nutrition milieu and eating habits, as also financial concerns, willingness for any change and personal priorities.

Incidentally, the dietitian may suggest a subsequent session to review the progress, set new goals, while trying to change the patient’s lifestyle and/or food habits suitable for a recently treated gastroenterology patient.
